Job Title: Director, Human Resources

Human Resource Business Partner will provide a full range of HR services and be a key driver of the People strategy to the Allston Landing Manufacturing Site. In this leadership role, the Director, HR will build and sustain relationships with all levels of this dynamic client team to effectively influence analysis and decision-making in the areas of leadership, talent management and development, succession planning, change management, work force planning, organization development and design, performance management, employee engagement, relations and communications. This position will lead and manage an HRBP and will be a key member of the Site Leadership Team, the direct HR partner to the Site Head and several organizations at the Site and a key member of the broader Sanofi Industrial and HR community.

The Director, HR will collaborate with the HR Centers of Expertise (Rewards and Recognition, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Talent Acquisition and Shared Services) to diagnose, develop and deliver solutions to support client groups. The person in this role should have a strong business acumen with proven ability to align business needs with HR support and solutions to move the business forward in a growing and changing environment. The ideal candidate will effectively influence analysis, accountability and decision-making in the areas of leadership and management, change management and operational transformation, organization development and design, performance management, talent development, work force planning and employee engagement, relations and communications. The candidate will also have strong management and leadership competencies and demonstrated success with cultivating and leading high performing teams.

The candidate selected must be able to work in a fast-paced, biologics manufacturing environment, (24x7x365) with a sense of drive and urgency, balancing multiple priorities simultaneously. In addition, the candidate selected will have excellent reasoning and problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, effective project management skills and organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, listening and presentation). The candidate should also be able to demonstrate interpersonal awareness to effectively build and sustain strong client partnerships with trust and credibility.

Basic Qualifications

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 10-15 years or Master's and 8 or more years of progressive Human Resources experience inclusive of 7+ years in a leadership capacity. State and federal employment law knowledge is required.
