The tax, accounting and regulatory environment confronting HR is extremely complex and continually changing. Inefficient tax planning and failure to proactively manage tax, accounting and regulatory risks emanating from HR strategies, rewards and delivery models can significantly and unexpectedly impact a business' bottom line. Our team is devoted to helping Human Resource and Finance effectively meet these challenges. Whether the issue is a highly technical benefits or compensation tax/accounting issue, the impact of new legislation or regulations on plan administration, or broad-based design and strategy, we offer technical depth and a pragmatic perspective focused on achieving both Finance and Human Resource goals. In addition to "traditional compliance" services, we also offer cost-saving tax and accounting planning ideas and designs that are delivered by staff who are highly experienced with both the tax regulators and accounting standard-setters.
As a member of our team, you will help companies align their executive and employee compensation (base pay, annual incentives, long term incentives, and local and international stock option plans) with business objectives, and solve the unique challenges of global stock option plans by focusing on risk management, cost reduction, and employee perception of value.

Minimum Years of Experience: 5
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Certification(s) Required: CPA, Society of Human Resources Professional, or CCP
Degree(s) Preferred: Juris Doctorate, MBA, or Master's degree in Taxation
Thorough knowledge of design, regulatory, compliance, financial reporting and technical aspects of compensation arrangements in either a major law-firm, consulting or corporate environment.
Considerable knowledge of domestic and global governmental compliance programs and qualified and non-qualified benefit programs, and experience with financial analysis.
Working knowledge of tax and/or accounting policy research, analysis and working with complex tax and accounting issues.
Comprehensive technical skill in a wide array of compensation and benefit matters including; qualified and non-qualified plans, executive compensation and health & welfare arrangements.
Considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; and preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
Considerable experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust; seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation; and coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
