Corporate Social Responsibility Project Manager - 1704326
Santander's Corporate Social Responsibility program includes social investments, charitable contributions, volunteer engagement and corporate sponsorships. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program Manager implements CSR initiatives in the United States, including financial education, social and environmental programs, coordinates sponsorships across business lines and assists with executive board placement. The SR Program Manager will also assist with the CSR budget process, monitor expenses and manage the procurement and payment processes for the CSR team.
With the CSR Director, manage CSR program implementation in the United States with Santander US business units including environmental and social programs in coordination with Banco Santander CSR policies.
Develop and implement U.S. reporting on the impact of social and environmental programs to executive management and Santander Group.
Coordinate with Communications and Marketing divisions for internal and external publicity on CSR efforts.
Assist with administrative processes for the CSR team including the procurement process, annual budget process, quarterly reporting and ongoing monitoring of expenses.
Work with senior executives and not-for-profit partners to identify board and committee opportunities and place executives on boards.
Coordinate the annual United Way campaign across Santander US.
5 years experience with corporate social responsibility, marketing, compliance or community development programs CRA related program experience preferred.
Effective program manager with the ability to prioritize and manage complex initiatives. Experience in implementing philanthropic initiatives.
Experience with payment processing, managing budgets, contracts and/or sponsorship agreements.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate and present to internal and external audiences including executive leadership.
Proficiency with MS Office and Project Management Tools. (Clarity, Visio, Excel,
MS Project, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to foster collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, including business units, executive leadership and not-for-profit partners.
Duties are performed in an office environment. Physical demands could involve any or all of the following: digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in the operation of office equipment; light to moderate lifting (10-20 lbs.) and carrying of supplies, files, etc; the ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees both telephone calling and in person; and body motor skills sufficient to enable the incumbent to move from one office location to another.
