The Director of CEO Strategic Support occupies a pivotal position dedicated to advancing the CEO’s strategic vision. Central to this role is the cultivation of seamless communication and collaboration between the executive team and the Board of Directors.

As Assistant Corporate Secretary, you will forge a close partnership with the Corporate Secretary, ensuring the board remains well-informed, actively engaged, and in harmony with the organization's overarching objectives. Integral to this responsibility is the adept management of all facets of board communication, coordination, and relationship cultivation, fostering an environment of transparency, accountability, and shared understanding.

Additionally, as the Associate Chief of Staff, you will collaborate closely with the Chief of Staff to provide strategic guidance and operational oversight to the executive office. Serving as a pivotal advisor, you will play a key role in managing priorities, streamlining processes, and enhancing interdepartmental communication, thereby optimizing organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities include:

CEO Support:

  • Strategic Planning & Alignment: Collaborate with CEO and team to align board priorities with organizational goals. Provide insights for strategic decision-making and support annual OKRs implementation.

  • Executive Leadership Coordination: Organize Executive Leadership Team around shared goals, including meeting facilitation.

  • Executive-Level Searches: Support recruitment, selection, and onboarding of senior leaders. Administer search committees and liaise with external firms.

    Board Relations/Assistant Corporate Secretary:

  • Board Communication: Serve as primary contact for executive team and board. Ensure timely dissemination of information.

  • Meeting Management: Coordinate logistics for board meetings, including agendas and materials.

  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with board, facilitate communication between board and leadership.

  • Governance Support: Aid board in fulfilling governance responsibilities, compliance, and policy development.

  • Board Development: Coordinate orientation and training for new members, enhancing overall effectiveness.

    Executive Office Management:

    Oversee day-to-day executive office operations, ensuring efficient workflow and decision-making processes.

Qualifications required:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

  • Proven experience in board relations and corporate governance.

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a focus on detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.

  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to understand complex issues and contribute to informed decision-making.

  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity in all board and executive-related activities.

  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and ethical guidelines governing board governance and communication.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and board management software platforms.
