Overall Purpose of Role:

As a Key Account Associate you will be tasked with generating new business from our top 30 Pharma customers. This will involve working closely with Directors and Global Key Account Directors, as well as Insights Product Specialists, to penetrate and expand existing networks, uncover new contacts, find new budget holders and expand DRG’s footprint in the US marketplace.

Requirements

  • Business Development to drive transactional sales within DRG’s largest customers and most important relationships

  • Expand and grow our contact base to engage with new potential users of DRG’s services

  • Re-engage with dormant and/or inactive users and past purchasers

  • Accurately maintain customer data and interactions via Salesforce.com

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Customer Experience to leverage Thought Leadership and other collateral to promote DRG’s services

  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge across a range of DRG’s services

Education, Experience, and Competencies Required:

  • Degree educated

  • Experience of selling into the Life Sciences sector preferred, Biotech or Pharma strongly preferred

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communications skills

  • A self-starter with energy and drive

  • Passionate about winning; A self-starter with a track record of success ideally in and out of the workplace

  • Team player who is willing to take but also proactively provide direction and ideas
