Amazon Software Development Engineer II, Android Framework for Devices in Boston, Massachusetts

Key job responsibilities

  • Transform functional requirements into robust, efficient, and scalable solutions designed to meet current demands and adapt to future needs

  • Develop and contribute to automation frameworks, and write automated tests to ensure applications meet high quality standards

  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including scoping, design, code, testing, deployment and maintenance of the team's software.

  • Active in operational support and ensure that the root causes of operational issues are identified and resolved

  • Build and maintaince software pipelines to deliver software solutions to Android devices

  • Software Documentation - show how it is constructed, tested, and operated.

  • Actively mentor other development engineers

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

Boston, MA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
