The successful individual will provide business financial analysis to support preparation of monthly management reporting to Senior Management, operations and other functions of the Company. The individual must be proactive and gain a detailed understanding of the business and underlying drivers that impact results. The position involves detailed financial modeling and analytical reporting for all aspects of the financial results of the business including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow. Key member of financial team that can prepare comprehensive and diverse financial analysis for operations, including detailed manufacturing P&L analysis, for the Company’s manufacturing facilities located in Mexico, UK, Germany and Puerto Rico

Overall Responsibilities:

Leverage strong accounting/financial background and experience to analyze historical financial data, predict future results and drive reporting and process improvements. Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze current/past financial data and performance, prepare reports, financial projections and other analysis of corporate and operational results

  • Support preparation of annual budget for the Company in total and for all functions and locations of the Company including analyzing monthly results and reporting of actual results versus budget

  • Applying full understanding of manufacturing operations, cost accounting and manufacturing variances, identify trends in manufacturing financial performance; provide recommendations for improvement

  • Support commercial sales and marketing teams in preparation of detailed sales reporting by product group, region and sales leaders

  • Understand, analyze and report on price, mix and other aspects of sales reporting

  • Work with functional leaders to support management of operating expenses within budget limitations

  • Support preparation of balance sheet and cash flow forecasts

  • Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review and analyze financial information and forecasts

Skill Set Required

  • Strong finance and accounting background, Manufacturing Financial Analysis

  • Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills

  • Strong Excel skills, adept at building complex financial analysis tools

  • Strategic thinking focused on improving business operations

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft AX) and related technologies

  • Excellent time management and organizational ability

  • Ability to multitask and meet constant deadlines

  • Hands-on approach and creative thinker

  • Willingness to work long hours or weekends, when necessary

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting or a related discipline

  • 5-10 years experience in financial analysis position

  • Strong business and financial acumen combined with excellent analytical skills

  • Microsoft Office: expertise in Excel and proficient with VBA programming, competency in PowerPoint Word.

  • Knowledge of relational databases and connecting data from multiple sources

  • Medical industry experience a plus

  • Travel required occasionally including outside the U.S. (Tijuana, Vancouver, Germany, possibly UK and Puerto Rico)
