Job Overview Experienced software release engineer. You will be part of a team of highly skilled developers with industry leading expertise in digital imaging and embedded systems. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining code stability in multiple development and release branches in an Agile development and test environment. Successful candidates will be proficient in Linux and Windows environments. Shell scripting, Python, Perl or Ruby experience will help you excel as you oversee and maintain automated testing systems and publish test results internally for issue resolution. Good organizational skills will enable you to manage the bug log, triage new issues and assign them to the appropriate members of the team. Experience with C will give you an edge as you evaluate code changes to determine where problems were uncovered during the development process. Good communication skills will aid your preparation of technical information for release notes, executive presentations and other customer facing documentation. You will work closely with software engineers, QA engineers, Marketing, Senior management and Documentation to deliver industry leading software on time in a semi-annual release schedule. Experience with JIRA, Agile SCRUM, Microsoft Office, Photoshop will be helpful. Graphic arts or publishing experience will be very helpful. You will successfully drive the engineering test and release process to timely, fully functional and stable product releases.
Minimum Qualifications Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.
Experience with Programming using a variety of languages, including Linux Shells, Perl, C, Python, Ruby
Preferred Qualifications Proficient in Linux and Windows operating systems.
Proficient in Shell scripting, Perl and C programming.
Education Requirements Required: Bachelor's, Computer Science
