Oracle Principal Sales Consultant – Regulatory Compliance Architect - Major US Metros in Cambridge, Massachusetts
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.

Cloud Regulatory, Cloud Security, and Cloud Architecture Experience:
Responsible for driving the adoption and implementation of next generation network technologies and cloud network design for Oracle Infrastructure (Iaas) and Platform (PaaS) public cloud services
Specifically, this role will be focused on Cloud Regulatory Compliance, Cloud Security and shared-responsibility models.
Requires strong technical skills in public cloud architectures, experience with regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, PCI DSS, FedRamp, ISO, SOC, etc.), understanding of legal contruct related to regulated environments, data privacy, and demonstrated practical experience migrating regulated/validated workloads to public cloud.
Expert understanding of a wide range of IT system components including architecture, authentication, identity, access, connectivity, system hardware and software components, virtualization, cloud computing, and mobility
Create cloud security architecture designs, cloud security solutions, present operational frameworks and controls, and trust models with large, enterprise clients
Experience and knowledge of 3rdparty identity and access management solutions, web application firewalls, security analytics, threat mitigation, and denial of service solutions
Understanding of service provider operational controls, compliance checklists, attestations, 3rdparty audits, RACI/shared-responsibility matrices, penetration testing, and how these relate to the cloud selection and migration process with enterprise clients
Designs and defines Oracle Cloud networking architecture for new cloud computing systems or existing systems migrating to cloud architectures.
Experience consulting large, enterprise clients in cloud migration strategies for connecting to the Cloud experience in networking with AWS, Azure, Google, or any other public cloud provider preferred
Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid network design environments highly preferred
Ability to present in front of large technical audiences on topics of security, regulatory compliance, and moving sensitive/validates systems to public cloud
Serves as primary liaison with senior clients; participating in meetings to ensure client needs are met and may participate in hands-on implementation activities for proof of concepts or in partnership with Customer Success/Delivery
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science; Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred
CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications a strong plus
