We need a creative, curious and ambitious analyst to help answer some of our biggest questions and then help come up with new questions. This opportunity is for someone with strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, who loves helping people be more efficient, and bridge the gap between users and developers.

Overview

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will work in a global environment and provide significant individual contribution to our operational analysis tools. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing and documenting business requirements, working with the delivery team to deliver solutions, and coordinating/communicating with business stakeholders.

This role will report to the Manager of a team responsible for a portfolio of operational and analytical capabilities within our business.

As a Senior Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Analyze the products and services usage patterns of our customers, generating new insights and assessing the impact of changes

  • Present results of analysis, together with associated guidance to the management

  • Assist in identification and qualification of both new and existing projects

  • Scope, create and prioritize development requirements for new and existing operational analysis tools

  • Work with users to translate their needs into requirements and with developers to implement them

  • Develop and execute system test plans and scenarios

  • Develop process flows and documentation for all aspects of projects as they apply to your role

  • Prepare training materials for deployment of tools enhancements and bug fixes

  • Adhere protocols to perform regularly scheduled back-up routines to secure data and documentation

  • Manage relationships with internal partners, eliciting and analyzing their needs, managing their expectations and maintaining their satisfaction with our operational and analytical capabilities

Required Education and Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:

  • 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or

  • 3 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or

  • Relevant experience

Required Skills

  • 4+ years’ experience in business analysis and working with business stakeholders and technical teams on delivering new systems functionality as well as troubleshooting issues

  • 3+ years’ experience with VBA, SQL, Oracle and other databases, and analytical tools

  • 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Office Suite including; Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Access and Project.

Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of telecommunications and internet technologies

  • Familiarity with product development principles and practices

  • Experience with program management principles and practices

  • Experience in agile software development methodology and integration, ideally in a professional services capacity

  • Demonstrated ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly

  • Technical Skills: Salesforce, Oracle Business Intelligence, Invoicing systems
