ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Oversee day-to-day operations of the loan servicing departments to ensure efficiency, accuracy, compliance and member service. Oversee and help develop daily collections strategies for FCFCU as well as all serviced entities to ensure accounts are worked in a timely, efficient manner Oversee servicing of new and existing mortgage, consumer and commercial loans; including boarding into the core processing system. Directly Manage the Assistant Manager of Loan Operations, Assistant Manager of Consumer MAG & Residential Senior Portfolio Representative of MAG Responsible for hiring, training and coaching of Loan Servicing Staff with assistance from Assistant Mangers Respond and resolve to escalated member loan inquiries. Support key initiatives Manage Vendor relationships Create and report key metrics up to VP of Loan Servicing Establish and maintain written documentation of department policy and procedures for existing and/or new functions performed within loan servicing. Manage and monitor reporting, remitting and reconciling activities related to secondary market (FNMA, FHLB) and investor reporting processes (i.e. consumer loan sales) to ensure compliance and accuracy. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of mortgage, consumer and commercial maintenance requirements, title policies, UCC filings and searches. Lead and/or assist with reconciliation of GL accounts as they relate to loan servicing and prepare invoices as necessary for payment to third party vendors. Assist with responses to loan reviews for examiners or internal/external auditors and with implementing required changes as a result of these reviews. Respond to quality control and assist with any special projects requested by management. Ensure confidentiality within all areas of responsibility. Cross sell and promote credit union products; including deposit and loan products, insurance offerings and business services. Successfully complete all company required and job specific training. Follow all procedures pertaining to the Credit Union?s policies of BSA, USA Patriot Act and OFAC. Attend training when available and keep abreast of all information regarding changes and updates. Report any acts of disregard to these policies to management. Perform additional duties as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Strong managerial and supervisory skills required to supervise a managerial/professional staff of ten or more people. Manage assigned employees; make routine employment decisions, review performance, make salary recommendations; assign work, provide coaching and training, advise employees as necessary; resolve employee issues. Maintain department staff attendance records utilizing online timekeeping system. Develop strong understanding of each department?s role throughout the production process; demonstrate ability to interact independently to resolve any issues that may impede production workflow. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED College degree or related experience preferred. Five to seven years loan servicing in financial services required. Five to seven years management experience required. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills. Highly motivated individual able to work in a team environment. Must be able to multitask and work with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office.
