The Financial Analysis Consultant will exert controllership over business unit: function as sale’s focal point for escalations within the finance organization; assume approver role in processes as required and ensure that policies and approval matrices are being followed; assist accounting team in ensuring that reporting is materially accurate, especially with regards to revenue recognition, provisions, etc.
Responsible for financial review, appraisal and controls for specified areas ensuring effective controls and audit capabilities exist and that business units are operating in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), IFRS legal requirements, tax requirements, SEC requirements and established company SOP's
Prepare periodic reports outlining the organization's financial position; provide proactive recommendations and actions necessary to achieve strong financial performance. Provides financial analysis and recommendations based on cost data, trends analysis and organizational long-range planning strategies
Lead process improvement initiatives: develop financial processes, tools and controls to support business requirements; identify business improvement initiatives and propose recommendations to management; lead cross-functional teams on business improvement initiatives.
Key financial business partner for Sales Executive: Assist General Manager and his direct reports in managing the business: develop, maintain and analyze financial models and reports as required; develop budgets and assist management in understanding profitability of the business; assist management in formulating strategies
Provide education and consultative analysis on general and specific issues that may have a financial impact on the organization to senior decision makers
Independently lead financial planning process aligned to corporate guidance and obtain buy-in of key stakeholders: develop outlooks, forecasts and annual plans as required; perform variance analysis of actual and planned results; accompany monthly close process and review journal entries and supporting documentation to ensure accurate reporting as required

Critical Hiring Criteria:
Advanced analytical skills
Communicate effectively to executive management
Strong executive presentation skills and comfortable working closely with executive management
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent, with 8 to 10 years relevant experience in finance or a related field (CPA or MBA a plus)
Should excel in the following areas: driving strategy, command skills, process management skills, dealing with ambiguity, customer focus and drive for results
