Russelectric Financial Planning & Accounting Analyst in Hingham, Massachusetts

Position Summary: Russelectric, a well-established, family owned company is looking for an individual who will relish making an impact in a rapidly growing company in their Hingham, MA location. The position will be an integral part of a small team that will support the CFO, CEO and senior management team in analyzing operating performance of the company, managing teams and reporting financial results to management and board members. Specific responsibilities include: Preparing budgets, forecasts, and monthly financial package presented to management and board members Working with sales, production and field operations managers to build management dashboards tracking operational performance Creating business cases and ad-hoc analyses to support management decisions and strategic initiatives Support strategic planning, operational initiatives, KPI and budget development Position reports to the CFO Job Requirements: Use quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform and influence business decisions Partner with managers and stakeholders to investigate and understand business issues and trends Communicate findings across departments, to executive leadership, and private equity sponsor Analyze and report operating performance vs. plan, and identify causes for variance Research and validate significant or unusual financial data Fulfill reporting requests and validate the integrity and accuracy of the data Build and maintain a positive working relationships across the organization Manage small teams for both normal-course and special project assignments Interface with Russelectric Board on selected financial, operational and special project related initiatives Qualifications: Attention to detail and comfort in manipulating large datasets Strong business acumen and analytical ability to analyze and understand financial results Excellent written and verbal communication skills; maturity / gravitas to work with colleagues and 3rd parties at a senior level Solid knowledge of corporate finance and financial accounting; must have a strong grasp of basic concepts including the relationship between financial statements Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn new ERP systems including, but not limited to Avante and any other that may be adopted in the future.
