The Human Resources Department is customer focused in the design and delivery of services to employees, managers, and candidates. Services include the oversight of MIT Lincoln Laboratory's recruiting programs, including college recruiting, summer undergraduate and graduate programs, and student co-op programs. Additionally, the department supports the Laboratory's diversity and inclusion efforts, manages training and career development, and administers compensation and performance management systems. The department also provides benefits counseling and administration, supports employee and labor relations programs, and manages Human Resources Information System data and applications.
HRIS Data/Compensation Analyst-ITS Level III
Will be responsible for data collection, extraction and production of trend and forecast analyses, reports and presentations to support business decisions at the senior level of HR and Laboratory management. Will work to ensure data integrity by identifying and working collaboratively to resolve data anomalies. Will assist with data audits and interfaces, particularly with troubleshooting of complex errors. Will recommend business process and system modifications to enhance and refine existing reporting capability as it applies to all HR systems (applicant tracking, master data, etc.). Will develop system and reporting specifications as well as perform QA testing of system enhancements.
In addition, will be responsible for various critical operational tasks within HR. These include: compensation survey submissions, assisting in various compensation analyses, responsibility for the administration, support and monitoring of various merit salary adjustment programs. Will also be responsible for data extraction and analyses in support of the Laboratory’s Affirmative Action Plan.
BS in computer science or related field plus 3+ years of relevant experience.
Must possess demonstrated expertise in HR data analysis, presentation and charting techniques. Must have proven abilities with mathematical and statistical concepts as they apply to data analysis and compensation planning. Capability to discern and refine specifications and requirements is required.
Excellent MS office skills required, particularly with advanced Excel and Powerpoint functionality.
Must have ability to respond under tight deadlines and prioritize deliverables while maintaining quality of work products and positive customer relationships. Must be able to work independently as well as in collaborative team efforts.
Proven judgement regarding sensitive and confidential information dissemination required.
Prior experience working with SAP and Success Factors desired. Experience with Business Object or other SQL based reporting tools a plus.
Ability to obtain and maintain a government (DoD) clearance required.
