Highpoint Treatment Center Recovery Specialist (Overnight) in New Bedford, Massachusetts

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is a health and human service agency whose mission is to treat and prevent substance use disorders and mental illness. High Point has programs located throughout Southeastern Massachusetts offering a full continuum of care for substance use and mental health treatment, including inpatient, outpatient, residential, and community-based services. Recovery Specialist Job Duties Applicants should have knowledge of substance use disorders & mental health conditions Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, & boundaries Facilitate & document groups discussions Complete client admission documentation Complete property searches, monitor clients while maintaining a therapeutic, safe, & calm unit Observation & accounting of patients at all times insuring safety (hourly checks w/ documentation) Escorting patients to meals & fresh air breaks Attends required meetings & mandatory trainings Recovery Specialist Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent GED This is an awake shift.
