NORTHAMPTON Full time Perform general office duties, including secretarial, clerical and record keeping tasks. * Process requests for supplies, monitor and initiate orders for new supplies when required. * Operate computer, printers, fax machines and copiers. * Pick up and distribute Departmental mail. * Receive incoming calls, furnish information, take messages and refer calls to appropriate personnel. * Coordinate and make arrangements for in-company meetings. * Serve as a back-up for other Administrative Assistants. * Coordinate and make arrangements for travel. * Coordinate presentations within area with repro-graphics department. * Maintain departmental budget data, including expenditures. * Coordinate and develop presentations from existing and new materials. * Maintain records and data on specific projects where data is regarded as both sensitive and company private. * May supervise Associate Administrative Assistant or Administrative Assistant. * Make effective decisions in the absence of supervisor or key personnel. * Performs all duties of Administrative Assistant. * Perform other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: **Minimum Education Required: Associates Degree **Minimum Experience Required: 5 years office/clerical experience * Computer proficiency with expertise in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Capability with MS Project and Access * Strong problem-solving skills with ability to assess business priorities * Successful candidates must meet eligibility requirements to access US classified information/ Environment/Equipment Used * Works in a typical office environment with limited exposure to light manufacturing environment * Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook E-mail * This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. * The use of safety equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas Essential Physical Tasks * Must be able to sit or stand for up to eight hours * Fine motor dexterity * Hand-eye coordination * Concentrated mental/visual demand * Ability to perform light lifting - 20 lbs. while exercising safe lifting techniques L-3 KEO employs a full spectrum of engineering and manufacturing disciplines to design a variety of sensor and weapon systems for submarines, surface ships, combat vehicles, and other defense platforms.
