Join our team of competent and compassionate professionals as a Respite Unit at Behavioral Health Network! Counselors help provide services and comfort for the adult mental health population in Western Massachusetts as they work to meet program goals. Use your interviewing, observation, and documentation skills to plan and implement treatment services. Gain exposure to opportunities that promote learning and growth within your position. Multidisciplinary collaboration with the individuals served, their family members, and service providers. Counselors complete mental status exams and develop their ability to work as a team. Supervision and training is provided as a regular part of the Counselors\' position. The Respite Unit is a safe, supervised environment. Individuals served are provided a range of services including need assessments, groups, and one-on-one counseling. Counselors at Behavioral Health Network have the following qualities: 2-year experience in a human service field or equivalent experience with a psychiatric population.
