Job Summary

Director of Cyber Solutions Deployment for Security and Vulnerability Management is responsible for leading a team of internal employees and contractors. Significant focus will support all aspects of MassMutual’s Cyber Solutions Delivery efforts. This is an opportunity to lead a team that is driving the delivery arm to support the improvement of MassMutual’s Cyber Security posture, and helping to limit exposure to risks and areas of exploitation. In joining our team, you will be leading a group of delivery professionals as they utilize knowledge and data to make MassMutual more productive, profitable, competitive, and secure, as well as supporting our lines of business to reduce their risk exposure through Cyber Security toolsets, platforms, and other efforts dictated by environmental change.


• Define and oversee the execution of the delivery efforts for all MassMutual Cyber Security projects

  • Provide the day-to-day leadership of key delivery efforts aligning to all Cyber Security business partners

  • Collaborate, perform and provide leadership to enable the attainment of strategic objectives, including the readiness of the support organization to deliver on all Cyber Security efforts.

  • Model the behaviors for interactions with key partners across MassMutual and set standards for the team to emulate

  • Establish and inforce repeatable practices for core support functions

  • Define and build an organization that supports the business, and aligns staff in roles that matched their skills, while enabling growth and acting definitively to make changes and corrections where warranted

  • Instills and demonstrates a focus on delivery of high quality services as seen through the accuracy, currency and availability of the systems and services within the scope of responsibility.

  • Additionally stretches routinely beyond defined boundaries to lend skill and expertise to partner teams across the organization with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Achieve our objectives for continuous improvement on speed, cost and effectiveness through metric-based management, and standardizing deliverables that align with Enterprise Information Risk Management’s core standards

• Develop, recruit and train industry knowledge experts to enable superior delivery of Cyber Security efforts, to secure the digital assets of the firm.


Basis Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in an IT leadership role with a minimum 5 years’ experience of direct responsibility in leading large, complex cyber security initiatives.

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading teams that involve Cyber Security best practices

  • Direct knowledge of Cyber Security efforts such as DLP, SIEM, NAC, Behavior Analytics, Endpoint Protection, etc.

  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
