This is aGreat Opportunityto become a leader in a great company and a growing sector of Compass Group, Canteen. We are seeking a growth minded Regional Director to manage Regional Office Coffee (OCS), Micro Kitchen & Pantry operations. As the Regional Director you will have operations and fiscal responsibility to grow our business.
Ensure that the region financial performance meets Company and client objectives; optimize operational productivity and monitor development of realistic and accurate forecasts.
Interpret and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and guidelines to promote their consistent application within the district.
Ensure adherence to company sponsored retail, merchandising and purchasing programs. Promote technology initiatives including hardware implementation, software development, and online ordering.
Identify client's needs to ensure optimal account retention; communicate account progress and new Company programs to client. Conduct client contract negotiations.
Participate in the sales process and approve new business proformas.
Foster teamwork culture among branches and partnership with other Compass sectors. Develop relationships with Sector Partner leadership.
Identify regional and district training requirements with emphasis on safety.
Develop and coach management associates to meet staffing needs and talent management program, and to ensure optimum utilization of regional and district associates.
Coordinate union contract negotiations; stay current and abide by all parts of collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years related experience.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial data.
Excellent presentations skills required.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
