Caring Health Center Registered Nurse Manager in Springfield, Massachusetts

Position Title: RN Program Manager, Medication-assisted Treatment (MAT) Program Minimum Requirements: 1. RN with current MA license, minimum 3 years supervisory experience required 2. Psychiatric/addiction background required 3. Non-judgmental attitude in regards to dealing with patients in recovery and relapse 4. Proven project management skills and strong addiction knowledge base 5. Proven staff management and mentoring skills 6. Strong analytical, problem solving, planning and prioritization skills 7. Extremely detail-oriented in both verifying own work as well as the work of others Principle Responsibilities and Duties: 1. In collaboration with OBOT Team members, develop/implement/update policies and protocols for OBOT Program, including inclusion of care management and support for patients on Vivitrol 2. Oversee the day to day operations of the MAT program and ensure broad adherence to protocols across three practice sites 3. Ensure existing and new staff are updated and trained in existing and new policies and protocols 4. Pursue continuous improvement efforts to provide the highest quality services to patients and improve health outcomes 5. Work closely with community partner organizations to ensure appropriate co-management and/or seamless coordination of care at all levels of care 6. Conduct intake assessments and review program expectations, medication options, and safety; monitor addiction treatment plans with patients in weekly to monthly visits 7. Conduct Naloxone (intranasal administration) teaching for all patients and the families and friends of patients 8. Facilitate prior approvals and manage all insurance issues 9. Supervise OBOT RN Care Managers 10. Lead weekly Case Management discussions
