Job Description The Raytheon Global Business Services (GBS) Cost Analysis organization is seeking an individual to join its team as a Consulting Financial Cost Analyst. The Analyst’s work product and leadership will have a direct impact on Raytheon’s competitive posture in the defense market place and customer satisfaction. For these reasons, a strong background in cost accounting, estimating, industrial management/engineering and analytical techniques is required. Responsibilities Include: · Ensure regulatory compliance and protect Raytheon bookings by completing independent assessments of fair and reasonable supplier pricing · Drive affordability and value from Raytheon’s supply base through detailed fact-finding, should-cost analyses, and direct support for supplier negotiations, including testing the commitment, credibility, and motivation of suppliers · Develop should-cost positions using Raytheon and industry information Plan, conduct, and report on on-site fact-finding/focused discoveries for Strategic Sourcing Agreements to determine the following: · Product Life Cycle Analysis – Unit/Shipset Cost Curves · Support of Affordability Strategies · Production and Optimum cost scenarios to support Source Selection · Contribution margin analysis to support Strategic Pricing (Supplier Economics) (Raytheon true value contribution) · Support Supplier bid analysis to determine competitive pricing levels and prepare for negotiations · Lead cross-functional ESPX Integrated Category Teams (ICTs) in focused discovery, value assessment, and reporting · Support key Raytheon Strategic Initiatives such as establishment of Machining COE, CCA COE, etc. (e.g. through make/buy analysis and strategic sourcing determinations) · Build and maintain Raytheon’s institutional knowledge of ESPX fact-finding methodologies and Marginal Pricing · Help develop long term sourcing relationships with our strategic suppliers · Discuss and support cost findings with Government auditors and contracting officers Required Skills: Minimum of 8 years Finance, Supply Chain, or related experience · Lead cross-functional teams by influencing without organizational authority · Lead focused discovery and supplier and subcontract negotiations · Advanced knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations Experience working in at least 2 of the following areas: · Raytheon or subcontractor proposal requirements · Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering · Operations or Product Line estimating · Program Business/Cost Accounting · Strong analytical and problem solving skills · Understand and be able to articulate the importance of strategic pricing decisions · Utilization of appropriate analytical techniques to determine reasonableness of supplier proposed costs · Proficient in MS Office tools · Ability to develop solutions to a variety of problems of significant scope and complexity · Demonstrated ability to lead and provide strategies for focused discovery pursuits (fact find) Desired Skills: · Familiarity with ESPX and/or affordability tools · Professionally present to large groups · Train employees and subcontractors Required Education (including Major): -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; Master’s Degree preferred US Citizenship Required This position requires access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship. 101624
