CTG Inventory Control Specialist in Wilmington, Massachusetts

Description

CTG is seeking to fill an Inventory Control Specialist opening for our client in Wilmington, MA.

Location: Wilmington, MA

Duration: 8 months

Overview:

The Inventory Control Administrator will be responsible for inventory cycle count on maintenance spare parts, identify technical descriptions, obtain technical data sheets from Suppliers, and entering all technical data into our CMMS system (SAP). Will also be responsible for count and technical description of parts that are not currently in the CMMS system, reviewing purchase order history identifying maintenance parts used in repairs and entering data in the CMMS system.

Duties:

  • Proactively support all Employee Health and Safety procedures and policies to ensure the maintenance team can work safely.

  • Ensure all parts inventories are maintained properly in the CMMS.

  • Ensure accuracy of parts issued.

  • Follow proper procedures when stocking, issuing, and disposing of all spare parts.

  • Follow proper procedures for performing inventory counts and audits.

  • Support spare parts ordering.

  • Able to utilize computer software such as MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel. Be proficient at internet searches utilizing Internet Explorer. Have a familiarity with CMMS software.

Skills & Experience:

  • Documented training in inventory management in a manufacturing environment

  • Minimum one (1) year of experience working in a spare parts department for a manufacturing facility.

  • Solid understanding of technical concepts including electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems

  • Ability to effectively utilize parts manuals and manufacturers build sheets.

  • Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.

  • CMMS experience is a plus, specifically with the SAP platform.

  • Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.

  • Ability to routinely lift weights of 40 lbs.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Pay Range
