Job Description

Contributes to the Hospital's mission by assisting residents with activities of living. This staff position will have an impact on improving quality and safety of patient care by providing assistance in an assisted living environment to improve quality of life. Qualifications Education: Required: High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Experience: Preferred: At least one year experience as a home care aide

Other Skills/Knowledge: Required: For safety and quality reasons, must be able to effectively read, write and communicate effectively in English with patients, visitors, vendors, and fellow members of the hospital team

Certifications: Required: Certified Home Health Aide or nursing student with completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course and/or one Medical Surgical clinical nursing rotation.

REQUIRED: Basic Life Support Scheduled Hours 12 hours/week
