This position will report to the director in Woburn, MA, however, this position has the ability to telecommute and can be located anywhere in the United States.

Must Haves:

  • BS in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Finance
  • Proven track record of achievement
  • 1+ years of sales or customer service experience
  • Assertive and goal-oriented mentality
  • Strong persuasion skills
  • Energetic phone presence and superior active listening skills
  • Solid writing skills – ability to professionally present the company and garner interest via email and/or social media
  • Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities
  • Excellent time management skills

Roles & Responsibilities

Your success is our success. This role reports directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing and is provided ongoing coaching and mentoring by the DSM and other senior executives in order to drive business development and grow our customer base.

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails, or social media connections (assigned targeted list of accounts to focus on)
  • Meet or exceed monthly targets (tied directly to compensation plan) for connections and meetings
  • Research accounts, identify key players/decision makers, and set meetings for business development/ops team
  • Maintain & expand Salesforce database of prospects
  • Capture accurate and complete information in CRM system in order to build current and future opportunity pipeline (i.e. identification of decision makers, notation of future bid dates, etc.)
  • Assist in completing sales proposals/RFPs
