The Bridge of Central Massachusetts, Inc. Treatment Coordinator - Alsada House (Worcester) in Worcester, Massachusetts
This specialized residential treatment program provides a comprehensive, therapeutic living environment for eight men and women with mental health and substance abuse challenges. The goal is to assist in managing co-existing illnesses, while helping the adults develop independent living skills, transition to a more independent setting, and maintain their sobriety. The program offers a variety of groups including relapse prevention and Illness Management and Recovery (IMR), as well as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Supported Employment.
The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Clinician with developing and writing treatment and behavior plans, and will help facilitate groups. The Treatment Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining collateral contacts, assisting clinicians with assessments, and assisting with the scheduling and facilitation of Person Centered Planning meetings. The Treatment Coordinator also provides direct care to individuals, shift supervision, group facilitation, serves as a member of the leadership team, and has division on-call responsibilities.
Bachelor's Degree in Social Services related field preferred, plus a minimum of one to two years of experience with adults who have co-occurring disorders (mental illness and substance abuse) one of which includes supervisory or clinical experience. Candidate must have knowledge of writing treatment plans and assessments. Candidates must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license. Eligible candidate must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word and must be MAP (Medication Administration) certified or certifiable.
