Randstad is searching for a CNC Machinist II to operate both manual and CNC machines according to program and product specifications. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You'll work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure precision, efficiency, and adherence to specifications. salary: $52,000 - $62,400 per year

shift: First

work hours: 6 AM - 4:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies

• Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes

• Positions parts in specified locations using a variety of fastening devices

• Operates hand-held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools

• Operates lift equipment as needed

• Uses precision measuring tools as required

• Ability to recognize various material types used in department and adjust equipment if needed

• Ability to recognize worn tooling and change in machine as required

• Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspects

• Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department Lead

• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations

• Completes all necessary paperwork as required, including in process or carbon copy production sheets

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
