Work Shift: 2nd Shift 12PM-8:30PM (Shift differential offered)

Position Summary:

Based in Agawam, MA, this role will provide inventory control and administrative support to the distribution operations. Investigating discrepancies, variances and customer inquiries by working with all key team members, departments or outside vendors to resolve quantity or quality issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Use AS400 / Mainframe computer systems to perform activities surrounding cycle counting, inventory investigations, receiving, put-aways, error reports, customer service call resolution, product returns, and backorder processing.

Perform Daily Cycle Counts and maintain records for each count appropriately.

Maintain Daily records for RX Scrap, and QCH requests.

Work on receiving discrepancies and RQV (receiving quantity variances) daily to ensure inventory is accurate and RQV issues are resolved timely while remaining at the acceptable levels.

Proactively connect with the supervisor regarding any customer concerns and / or potential issues.

Optimally address customer concerns within established resolution timeframes.

Engage in process improvement activities and projects.

Perform other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management when needed.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skills, and/or ability. To perform this job optimally, and to complete each crucial duty in a satisfactory manner and work in a team environment. Must be proficient in all aspects of distribution and departmental standard operating procedures.

A High School Diploma or GED.

General warehouse experience is helpful.

Worker should have or be willing to acquire forklift certification or have prior experience operating powered industrial trucks, preferably an order / cherry picker.

Preferred experience in computers and scanning equipment.

Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and possess problem solving abilities.

Ability to constantly stand and move around department required.

Frequent walking, stooping, bending, and reaching required.

Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance vital for adequate scheduling and coverage.

Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:

Ability to read and write in English.

Lifts, carries, pulls, and pushes up to 40 - 70 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally with or without accommodation.
