Staff Accountant Job Type - Permanent Pay Rate - \$75,000.00 - \$105,000.00 / Yearly Description Growing Manufacturing organization! Greater Springfield, MA County Recruiter contact: Sal.Fiorillo@RobertHalf Key Responsibilities: Participate in monthly financial close operations, including account analysis and reconciliation, journal entry review and posting, and variance analysis. Assist in the cost accounting and validate/update all costing, routings, and BOMs Assists the Controller and Plant Manager for annual physical inventory and weekly cycle count Prepare daily, weekly & monthly operational reports analyzing material, labor and overhead efficiency and productivity costs in comparison to plan Coordinate audit activities including preparation and provision of necessary financial documents and information Verify and complete payment of invoices associated with accounts payable Assist in accounts payable and receivable reconciliation Accurately process biweekly payroll Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field. 4+ years of experience as an accountant, within a manufacturing organization. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel, and experience with Accounting software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
