The Hamilton Company Account Payable Specialist in Allston, Massachusetts

Perform account payable audit by working with the companys Information Technology Systems Department to track missing batches. Use auditing methods to check accuracy of accounts and invoices in all real estate related transactions. Import and reconcile transactions from internal accounting software, and post daily transactions to the general ledger. Assist with vendor disputes by conducting statement reviews and reconciliation. Review and investigate open credits and outstanding invoices. Gather, analyze and evaluate accounting documentation, and prepare audit reports. Assist with preparation of all documentation for month end closings. Create and update periodic reports of all accounts and submit them to the companys management for review. Requirements: At least Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field with six months in the same or an accounting related occupation.
