Massachusetts Employer Industrial Sewing Machine Operator in Amesbury, Massachusetts
Our Company is lis a Massachusetts based, online direct-to-consumer American Made Workwear brand founded in 2016. We are rapidly growing and looking to add a full-time machine operator to our team. The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years experience operating various types of industrial sewing machines. General knowledge and understanding of garment construction, sewing workmanship and sample making is ideal. Basic sewing machine setup knowledge is helpful. *Responsibilities: - Sample Making As needed - from marker (pants, jackets, vests, tees ect) - Hemming Pants to order - Minor Seam Repair - Button Repair - Trim Thread Ends - Finishing & Packing - Basic sewing machine setup and adjustment Qualifications -3+ years sewing experience in an industrial setting -Able to make one-off garment sample from pattern -Experience setting in zippers - Basic sewing machine setup and maintenance - Good communication skills - Comfortable working in a face paced environment - Reliable transportation This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) out of our Amesbury, MA headquarters and workshop. Working hours can be flexible.*
