Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the Education sector located in Amherst, Massachusetts. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for admissions and financial aid inquiries, and will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient customer service experience for all.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary point of contact for admissions and financial aid inquiries.
• Efficiently process incoming calls and emails, providing accurate and timely information.
• Direct calls to appropriate departments to ensure quick resolution of inquiries.
• Provide guidance to visitors, assisting with scheduling tours and answering queries.
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer records.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and order processing.
• Ensure all inquiries are responded to in a timely and detail oriented manner.
• Coordinate with the team to handle customer service needs and improve processes.
• Utilize Outlook and Teams for internal communication and coordination. Requirements • Must have experience in answering inbound calls, providing a friendly and efficient service to customers.
• Proven experience in a call center customer service role is essential.
• Demonstrated skills in providing exceptional customer service, with a focus on meeting customer needs and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
• Proficiency in data entry, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Must be able to handle email correspondence professionally and efficiently, responding to customer enquiries in a timely manner.
• Experience with handling both inbound and outbound calls.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, including the ability to create spreadsheets, use formulas, and analyze data.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, with the ability to create, edit, and format documents.
• Experience in order entry, ensuring all customer orders are accurately processed.
