We are seeking a Manager, Business Intelligence to join our global IT team. This role is pivotal in transforming our BI analytics capabilities to support decision-making that drives growth and operational improvements. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools, and will be responsible for driving data-driven decision-making processes across the organization. As a Manager, Business Intelligence, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business needs, develop analytical solutions, and provide actionable insights to support business growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a small team to identify and execute opportunities leveraging business intelligence to improve customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, drive revenue growth, and deliver new product and service capabilities.
Negotiate development request priorities and timelines with Business Leaders, monitoring and reporting on progress.
Lead the development and implementation of advanced data visualization techniques to create intuitive and impactful reports.
Generate insights through statistical analysis to support strategic planning, business development, and operational efficiency.
Scope and manage projects from ideation to implementation to enhance the organization’s data and analytics capabilities.
Facilitate data-related discussions between business functions, balancing conflicting viewpoints and achieving consensus with key stakeholders.
Lead cross-functional teams to collaborate with IT and data engineering teams to optimize data processes and infrastructure.
Lead team initiatives to enhance Business Intelligence capabilities to develop advanced analytics and new products and services.
Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies and implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
Document Business Requirements and ensure that Business Intelligence team is delivering the right product to our customers
Research and Propose future state Business and Data opportunities for better integration capabilities
Management:
- Lead a team of 4-5 direct reports including development and succession planning.
Required Experience:
10+ years of experience in Data and Analytics with 3+ years of experience leading a team.
Extensive Power BI experience with strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation.
Strong ability to extract, manipulate, visualize, and model large datasets.
Ability to identify patterns, correlations, and trends from data that can provide insights into business operations, customer behavior, or market dynamics.
In-depth knowledge of data warehousing/lakehouse concepts, ETL processes and related technologies (e.g., Microsoft Synapse Analytics, Databricks).
Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Azure.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights. Ability to perform functional requirements analysis and business domain analysis.
Proven track record of program/project delivery.
Solid understanding of BI and MDM tools (Power BI is a plus).
Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong track record of delivering analytics that have led to significant business value.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to partner with and influence business leaders and colleagues.
Strong ability to motivate and lead teams to achieve great results.
