Job Description

Our top pharmaceutical client is eagerly hiring a Construction Safety and Health Consultant to join their Site Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team onsite in Andover, MA.

This person will be providing EHS support for all site projects associated with contractor, construction, and project safety programs. This person will be responsible for issuing safety permits, review design and other high hazardous safety plans, construction job walks, manage subcontractors, lead project team meetings and safety inspections, audits, and other construction and project-related safety support activities. This person will also be responsible for developing and delivering small group trainings on accident prevention topics and other site risk management programs. This person will work with all managers, general and subcontractors, construction managers, and other suppliers to ensure safety protocols are being met and should be comfortable initiating corrective action plans. This position is targeting a pay range from $55-65/hr.

Skills and Requirements

- 5+ years of experience (ideally 6-7) in a Construction Safety role within a highly regulated environment

- EHS Technical ability in the field -- familiar with Logout Tagout, confined space entry

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

- Bachelors degree in Safety or related field - Construction background null
