Greater Lawrence Technical School Adult Workforce Development Programs prepare Merrimack Valley adults for career pathways and living wage jobs with Northeastern Massachusetts priority industry employers. We provide \"Introduction to\" courses that include hands-on and related theory training in all the construction trades, as well as in advanced manufacturing, automotive, and in healthcare. Training is done in our state-of-the-art technical training facilities with highly experienced GLTS teachers to prepare trainees for first-rung occupations of relevant, in-demand careers. A key component of workforce development program success is connecting new graduates with employers to begin their employment journey. GLTS is seeking an Employer Engagement Manager to join our team to lead this critical component of programming. Main responsibilities include: 1. Marketing and promoting Greater Lawrence Technical School to employers, industry associations, organized labor unions, and other employer organizations 2. Establishing an employer relationship management database system. 3. Creating on-going networking & collaboration opportunities for employers to contribute to the vitality of GLTS 4. Planning and implementing employer visits, job fairs and other connections for employers to consider GLTS grads for hire. 5. Performing job placement of GLTS graduates (especially adult workforce development grads) with employers. 6. Providing job retention services for new hires. This is a full-time position with benefits. Must be available 2 evenings until 6 pm each week during the school year.
