A Day in Your Life at MKS:

The Human Resources Administrator is a dynamic organizer, who can proactively support the Human Resources Senior leaders. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with team members in every function of the HR department. The Human Resources Administrator will be successful in being well organized to enable management of priorities, committed to detail accuracy and perform independently with minimal guidance. Previous incumbents have been able to use this role as a stepping-stone for other HR professional roles within MKS.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Main point of contact among the Human Resources senior leaders, internal customers, employees.

  • Support of Headquarters HR for pre-hire coordination and orientation/on-boarding of new hires.

  • Support with invoice processing and budget tracking, as needed

  • Key partner for Human Resources senior leaders on projects that could include materials for presentations and/or conducting some data research or analysis.

  • Support of HR and Communications department with various communication initiatives, including updates to HR Sharepoint content and writing articles for homepage intranet news.

  • Assist with some Human Resources senior leaders’ calendars

  • Owner of Human Resources senior leaders’ expense reports

  • Coordination support of site activities/events, meetings and other such gatherings

  • Go To team member for travel and other accommodation arrangements.

Skills You Bring:

  • Undergraduate Bachelors’ degree, ideally with concentration in Human Resources

  • General administrative experience and interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources

  • Ability to multitask and adapt to project needs, with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Time management and coordination skills

  • Interpersonal perceptiveness

  • Effective communication and organizational skills

  • Experience with Excel and/or PowerPoint is a plus.

    Supervisory Scope:

  • Reporting Relationships: Reporting into Vice President, Human Resources.

*This position can be a hybrid role of some remote (typically 2 days a week) with three onsite days each week once initial onboarding is completed. The role must be based within commuting distance to MKS Corporate HQ in Andover, MA.
