Material Program Manager (MPM) needed for the Raytheon Patriot BMC4I Product Line execution team in Andover, MA. This role requires basic knowledge of the material requirements planning (MRP) process with practical knowledge of project and material management.

In this role you will learn and further develop your knowledge of manufacturing, material requirements planning and business acumen within a matrixed organization. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function as well as with parties external to the organization and company. You will have the opportunity to lead projects, budgeting and financial management, issue, and conflict resolution.

This position is a hybrid role, and the selected applicant will work with the hiring manager to set schedule.

What You Will Do

• Engage with IPT leadership on material strategy execution.

• Develop Risk Mitigation and Opportunity capture plans in support of product line execution & supplier management.

• Review and burn down SCM metrics.

• Develop and drive material EACs and monthly material sales forecasting.

• Commitment to obtain MPM certification after experience in the role.

  Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of five (5) years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience.

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  Qualifications We Prefer

• Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

• Progressive professional experience with a combination of experience in Project, Program, Product, Finance or Supply Chain Management is required.

• A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, and Power point)

• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation), leadership abilities, and the ability to work in an IPT environment.

• Must be a self-starter, capable of achieving organizational and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management, supplier management.

• Must be able to succeed in the high stress, fast paced environment of development.

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to the many tasks that they will be required to perform.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
