Cambridge Isotope Laboratories, Inc. (CIL) is seeking an Operations & Logistics (O&L) Inventory Assistant to join our team based onsite in our Andover, MA location. The O&L Inventory Assistant, working under general supervision, is responsible for a variety of documentation and order related tasks to ensure timely and on-time product shipment.


  • Perform inventory transactions including, but not limited to, new product releases, material requisitions and packaging shop orders as needed

  • Manage safety stock packaging for specific product lines; maintain updated safety stock packaging schedule

  • Maintain safety stock for resale finished good items, initiate purchase orders when needed

  • Assist with inventory reconciliations and update specific product log with consumptions

  • Assist with costing

  • Coordinate labeling, QC testing, and receipt of vendor products

  • Coordinate sampling of materials and scheduling orders for outside testing

  • Assist with order processing as needed

  • Perform end of the day check with the Shipping Department to ensure all orders are accounted for and shipped on time

  • Act as backup to Order Fulfillment Specialist

  • Scan documentation as needed to O&L team members

  • Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required

  • Perform various data analyses and actively promote continuous improvement


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Excellent computer skills and demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail

  • Must have a strong work ethic, be flexible to changing work demands and be an effective team player

  • Excellent communication skills

Pharmaceutical companies have begun to investigate deuteration of molecules that may provide advantages over their existing nondeuterated counterparts. In addition, increasing research into the potential medical advantages of new deuterated drugs is also occurring. In high technology, deuterated organic molecules and deuterium gas are commonly used in the manufacturing of microelectronics and OLEDs, which contribute to the increased lifetime of the devices.
