OVERVIEW: We are currently interviewing for teaching positions at our child care center. Our Teachers are our most valued resource and our teaching staff share not only ideas and materials, but a sense of family and community that extends outside of our working environment. As a non-profit child care program, we are able to dedicate a significant portion of our resources toward staff compensation and recognition of contributions to our program. DUTIES: Classroom teachers and assistants: Focus on meeting the nurturing and educational needs of each individual child Plan and carry out daily activities using our KHCCC mission and philosophy, yearly curriculum guide and a weekly planner Communicate directly with parents through daily greeting, email, conferences, website and classroom app to achieve success for each child Maintain a fun and interactive classroom with a stimulating environment, kept clean and organized. Participate in continuing education to advance knowledge in the field of Early Childhood Education REQUIREMENTS: Associate Degree Maintain high quality standards of NAEYC Accreditation This is a partial job description.
