RF Validation Engineer

The RF Validation Engineer will be responsible for testing and evaluation of RF LNA, Switches, Couplers, and Wi-Fi FEM products, and prepare data summary and reports to assist in product development. The RF Validation Engineer will be working as part of the product development team, and will work closely with RF and Analog Design Engineers. Experience in RF testing and RF test equipment setup is necessary. Candidate must have good knowledge and back ground in RF and Microwave design, or related.

Job Requirements:

  • BSEE with 5 years of RF test experience or MS degree with 3 years of RF test experience

  • Strong background in RF and Microwave testing of RF Wi-Fi or Cellular products

  • Good communication and presentation skills

  • Team player and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment to assist in RF product evaluations

  • Hands on experience of lab equipment including RF signal generators, oscilloscopes, power amplifiers, filters, duplexers, diplexers, spectrum analyzer, power sensors, and VNAs

  • Knowledgeable of RF system parameters such as insertion loss, attenuation, return loss, harmonics, IMD, P1dB, NF, switching speed, IIP2/3

  • Experience with RF impedance matching, the use of smith chart, for RF device and RF modules design and tuning.

  • Experience with RF probe testing is a plus

  • Proficient in data summary and presentation using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

    The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $87,600 - $167,900 per year . Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
