MKS Instruments Inc Sr. Credit and Collections Specialist in Andover, Massachusetts

A Day in Your Life at MKS:

As a Sr. Credit and Collections Specialist, you will manage an accounts receivable portfolio of MKS customers to minimize past due and build the integrity of the open receivable balances.

This position is hybrid and based in Andover, MA.

You Will Make an Impact By:

  • Collect, manage, and resolve open accounts receivable balances.

  • Collaborate with internal partners to identify root causes for non-payment and achieve solutions through to successful completion.

  • Facilitate on-time shipments by managing orders against credit limits and past due.

  • Provide weekly status reports detailing key collection issues and establish proactive steps for resolution.

  • Perform other duties as required to provide excellent service and teamwork.

Skills You Bring:

  • Highly consultative self-starter with a minimum of 5 years recent collection experience in a B2B environment

  • Demonstrated evidence of improving the collection process.

  • Capable of relationship-building, negotiation, problem-solving and follow through with internal and external partners.

  • Skilled at managing multiple priorities

  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles (with a public company a plus)

  • Oracle experience preferred but not required
