Ebeam Technical Support Engineer - 2nd Shift An opportunity currently exists for a 2 nd shift process engineering support position in the wafer fab of the Microelectronics Engineering and Technology department. The Microelectronics Engineering and Technology (MET) department designs and manufactures compound semiconductor devices, millimeter/microwave integrated circuits (MMICs) and modules for defense and commercial applications and is a part of Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems. As part of the Wafer Fabrication Engineering Department, the individual in this role will serve a support position for the ebeam lithography/metrology workcenter in RF Components production wafer fab. In this role, the individual will perform setups for running the electron beam exposure equipment, process wafers on electron beam coat tracks and exposure equipment as per process specifications, and support the production and development fab in other ways as needed. The chosen candidate will also be expected to work with engineers in various areas of wafer fabrication and process development on next generation technologies. An understanding of basic semiconductor processing and cleanroom experience is desired. This position can be a Salary Grade G06 or G07 based on the candidate’s qualifications as they relate to the skills, experience and responsibility requirements for the position. Required Skills & Experience At least 1+ years of experience in Wafer Fabrication Engineering role Experience in lithography processing including wafer coating, expose and develop modules Ability to program and troubleshoot lithography equipment such as coat and develop tracks, contact aligners, i-line steppers Ability to create, document, and maintain work instructions Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and related SPC software Desired Skills & Experience Experience with metrology tools (CD SEM and IVS Overlay) and data analysis techniques Ability to provide training and conduct certification evaluation process Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills Desire to learn new wafer fabrication skills and willingness to assist team members Knowledge of III-V semiconductors, preferably Gallium Arsenide and Gallium Nitride Desire to work in a semiconductor clean room environment Education Associates degree with 1+ years related working experience Keywords : semiconductor, photolithography, cleanroom, process engineering, wafer fabrication This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance.
