Job Description

Currently seeking Payroll Manager in Attleboro, MA. This is a full-time permanent opportunity that offers flexible hours!

Responsibilities include:

-Prepare and maintain payrolls for corporation on an automated system.

-Compile/analyze information and prepare payment vouchers, paychecks for pay other than regular payroll, and monthly payroll entries

-Oversee IRS quarterly and year-end reports

-Reconcile payroll data against general ledger accounts

-Respond to requests from other internal departments and outside companies

-Responsible for preparation of monthly payroll related accounting entries and workers compensation information

-Prepare Community Health Systems and affiliated corporation payrolls

-Input data into information system and audit all hours reported by employees

-Report discrepancies to Controller

-Maintains required documentation in employee s payroll files and implements changes to payroll forms

-Ensure payroll service vendor properly implements, maintains and updates payrolls

-Coordinate and reconcile parent and affiliated corporations payroll system to the respective general ledgers on a monthly basis

-Reconcile YTD earnings report to W-2 s prior to generation of final W-2 earnings statement for all corporation

-Assist Accounting Staff and Controller in various tasks:


-Associates Degree in business Administration, Accounting or three to five years experience in accounting and payroll processes

-Possess in depth knowledge and understanding of IRS and State tax regulations

-Previous experience putting into application of IRS and State tax regulations

-Experience, understanding and demonstrated competency of payroll information systems

-Strong attention to detail

-Excellent computer skills

Pay Rate: Up to $28.50 per hour
