Description

We are looking for someone who has current, high level bookkeeping experience to aid in servicing our offsite accounting clients. High level bookkeeping knowledge is a must.

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions

  • Process accounts payable, including verifying invoices, obtaining approvals, and issuing payments

  • Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve any issues

  • Prepare account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

  • Assist with technical accounting tasks, such as researching and implementing new accounting standards

  • Participate in budgeting activities, including preparing budget reports and analyzing variances

  • Write financial reports to communicate the organization's financial performance

  • Handle governmental accounting requirements, such as preparing reports for tax filings and audits

  • Manage payroll processes, including calculating wages, processing payroll taxes, and issuing paychecks

  • Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely collection of payments

Requirements

• 8+ years of Full cycle (start to finish Bookkeeping)

• Full bookkeeping principles understanding : Solid Transactional skills (AP/AR/Bank Recs), Monthly, quarterly, annual close process w/ financial reporting ability, Analytical skills.

(must know how to handle a balance sheet)

• System skills a MUST have! In particular QB (online version) and strong “useable” excel skills- Data manipulation, Pivots/ v-lookups
