SUMMARY: Karl Storz Endoscopy-America (KSEA) in Auburn is seeking to fill a full-time INVENTORY SLOTTING COORDINATOR, LOGISTICS CENTER position, reporting to the Inventory Control Manager, will be responsible for the integrity and accuracy of all inventories. This role supports the entire life cycle of the product, identifying the most appropriate storage type, based on the current demand or forecasted demand. This role will leverage expertise to define slotting opportunities, including but not limited to, ABC Analysis, cube movement, storage type, consolidation, SKU affinity, and warehouse zoning/sequencing. This role will also leverage analytical expertise to define business problems, collect relevant raw data for analysis, analyze data, present findings in easy-to-consume formatting, present fact-based recommendations to leadership, build what-if models, and partner with LCs leadership to monitor progress against desired business outcomes. Mon. to Fri., 40 hrs./wk, first shift, 8:30am-5:00 pm, wage $20.19-25.72/hr. DUTIES: Utilize VOC/Audit/Quality data to support decisions/actions positioning product within LC to optimize accuracy and efficiencies Collaborate with planned demand, purchasing, and MM to determine appropriate slotting strategies based on consumption, buying patterns, and forecasts Ensure all incoming products are assigned primary slotting locations before receipt; enter new materials and changes into inventory tracking system, SAP WMS, to ensure all product locations are identified appropriately; work with quality staff relative to first article NCR materials to support slotting activities Move product to make room for new products to efficiently utilize warehouse space and track product movement through warehouse Rearrange merchandise in the warehouse to maximize total cubic feet usage of available warehouse space Identify like items that are slotted in such a way that the products may not be confused and mis-picked; identify items frequently ordered together to create efficient pick zones Review inventory for slow moving/dead stock; slot appropriately; suggest dispositioning; prepare slotting change communication identifying the rearrangement of products; recommend additional storage needs based on capacity analysis Conform to appropriate equipment (forklifts, riders, wave, pallet jacks) operation rules and practices to reduce accidents and injuries REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma/GED 3-4 yrs. experience in fast-paced distribution/logistics/supply chain or production environment; inventory control experience Experience with data visualization tools preferred (Tableau, Power BI); familiarity with KARL STORZ and other medical devices preferred Demonstrable experience with SAP (preferred), or other WMS systems Computer proficiency and skill in MS Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word) Must have fully-developed, solid communication (written and verbal) and customer service skills Must be able to continually/easily adapt and adjust to changing priorities; be able to respond quickly and decisively to problem situations Must have willingness/aptitude to operate power equipment Must be able to work overtime as needed; must be punctual, able to follow attendance guidelines, and work hours assigned Must have good eyesight/hand-eye coordination; some physical movement of product and ability to climb ladders to access material in warehouse environment; able to lift up to 40 lbs.; capable of maintaining a neat and organized work space Must be able to pass CORI check and drug test; COVID-19 vaccination Please complete online application at:
