Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team located in Avon, Massachusetts. As part of our team, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to customer payment processing and credit management within our organization. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and will require on-site attendance.

Responsibilities:

• Posting customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.

• Updating receivables by totaling unpaid invoices.

• Posting revenues by verifying and entering transactions from lock box and local deposits.

• Maintaining accurate customer credit records and processing credit applications.

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

• Utilizing various software platforms including Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for account reconciliation and billing.

• Applying cash collections and commercial collections strategies to manage accounts receivable.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for data entry and financial reporting. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, and Commercial Collections

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP

• Prior experience in an Accounts Receivable Clerk position or similar role

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and reliability, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field.
