Allen Pump, Inc. Mechanic in Barre, Massachusetts

Mechanic- FULL-TIME, 1ST SHIFT (\$30-\$38 HOURLY) Mechanics are responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining engineered pumps. Their duties include: -Identifying problems: Using computerized diagnostic equipment or manual methods to investigate issues with pumps and other equipment -Planning work: Using technical manuals, charts, and experience to create procedures -Performing necessary maintenance to keep pumps and other equipment in working order -Repairing or replacing parts: Replacing worn parts, sensors, and other parts to manufacturer and customer specifications -Testing systems: Performing tests to check repairs and ensure parts and systems are working properly -Communicating with clients: Explaining problems and repairs to customers and providing excellent customer service -Maintaining records: Updating service records and maintaining shop records and reports -Estimating costs: Preparing estimates for time and cost of work, and budgeting for projects -Stocking supplies: Keeping necessary supplies in stock and ordering parts when needed Allen Pump was established in 2006, and our staff has more than 100 years of combined industry experience working with the largest OEM pump manufacturers.
