LogixHealth Assistant Manager, Provider Enrollment in Bedford, Massachusetts

Purpose

Participate in the daily management and monitoring of Representatives on the Provider Enrollment Team.   Manage the workflow associated with new group implementations with the goal of attaining timely payer and provider enrollments.  Educate Representatives on new group workflow to deliver an exceptional client experience and an efficient and accurate outcome.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.   Function as a leader on the Provider Enrollment team by demonstrating a consistently positive “can do” attitude.  Leads by example at all times

  1.   Assist in managing the workflow for the Provider Enrollment department

  2.   Research insurance provider enrollment requirements by state

    4.   Complete daily tasks with minimum guidance

  3.   Train new hires and current employees on processes and procedures

  4.   Assist in troubleshooting enrollment application issues that arise and determine best possible solutions

  5.   Coordinate new client implementation tasks within the Provider Enrollment department

  6.   Correspond regularly and professionally with all group contacts

  7.   Maintain and update all relevant credentialing reports

  8. Communicate provider enrollment status to groups, providers, Client Services and Billing Operations as needed

  9. Participate in regularly scheduled meetings

  10. Follow the defined processes and policies as ordered by senior management

  11. Attend conference calls with clients as needed following defined professional guidelines

  12. Uphold company mission, vision and values

  13. Adhere to the Logix Code of Conduct and be familiar with all compliance policies and procedures stored in LogixGarden relevant to this position

    Education (Degrees, Certificates, Licenses, Etc.)

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

    Computer Skills

    Prior word processing, spreadsheet and internet software experience including proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word required.

    Experience

    Three to four years supervisory experience preferred.

    Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability

  14.   Ability to add, to subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure; this ability will encompass using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals

  15.   Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages

  16.   Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals

    4.   Ability to be flexible and possess a positive attitude while viewing problems as an opportunity for improvement

  17.   Ability to assess/evaluate skills for many aspects of Provider Enrollment

  18.   Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

  19.   Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

  20.   Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram

  21.   Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

  22. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision

  23. Ability to work in a fast paced environment

  24. Ability to participate in special projects while maintaining regular responsibilities

  25. Ability to create tables or charts to display provider enrollment data

    14.  Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, use hands, talk, hear and occasionally walk and reach with hands or arms
