The Edinburg Center is seeking a Employment Specialist for our Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) Services group.

What You Will Do:

The Employment Specialist will be responsible for developing, directing, and providing work-related services to persons with mental illnesses, utilizing an assertive outreach model as a member of a self-contained interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessing strengths and needs, and planning and implementing an on-going employment strategy to enable each person served to obtain and retain a job.

Who You Are:

BA/BS or MA/MSW and at least one year of experience in the field required, two years in the field preferred. At least 1 year of supervised experience in providing individualized job development and supported employment on behalf of persons with mental health issues preferred. Individual Placement & Support (IPS) training/experience preferred. Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) or Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) experience preferred. Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation required.

At work, we are psychiatrists, social workers, clinicians, nurses, behavior specialists, peer specialists, board certified behavior analysts, direct service staff and employment specialists.
