This role has a specific focus on providing timely, accurate and responsive services to employees and managers on matters of Workday HR transactions (transfers, changes of schedule, pay changes, etc.), employee records, auditing data, HR forms and general HR policy information. Utilizes Workday to ensure integrity of data and optimal customer service. Responsible for understanding and complying with all policies, procedures, and regulations relating to job duties.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provides first level functional support for all manager and employee end-users and HR staff members in Workday

Carries out data entry quality control procedures that ensure accurate and timely processing of all HR job transactions according to all established policies and procedures and in compliance with regulatory and company requirements

• Responsible for HR Operational processes including HR transactions (transfers, changes of schedule, pay changes, etc.), employee records, HR forms and general HR policy information

• Ensures that all inquiries and concerns are resolved quickly, equitably and courteously by the HR Service Center team

• Conducts real-time, daily, weekly and monthly audits of HR transactions

• Validates transactions which impact payroll process

Resolves cases with a high level of customer-focus. Coordinates the resolution of cases that require escalation or involvement from other HR Partners and Customers

• Maintains confidentiality of all data and compliance with InfoSec, PHI and other requirements

• Responsible for the maintenance of HR records and compliance with HR recordkeeping regulations and best practice

• May refer to senior staff, if applicable, for assistance with day-to-day problems that may arise

• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven interpersonal, oral and written communication

  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience

  • Familiar with standard concepts, procedures and practices within HR. Must have excellent customer service skills and must be a problem solver with strong analytical skills and creative thinking abilities

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work well under pressure

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Workday • Microsoft Teams, Excel and SharePoint
