MITRE is looking for an innovative, customer-focused, security leader to take on the challenge of leading our Customer Engagement team. This team of highly motivated individuals facilitate bringing our MITRE Security program to the employees of the company. As the leader of our InfoSec Customer Engagement component you would be providing oversight to such functions as our continuous monitoring program, our security training & education program, phishing training and awareness, and general InfoSec program tier 1 support.

Responsibilities include:

  • InfoSec Service Requests – The Customer Engagement team is the primary interface for the company to reach into MITRE InfoSec to ask questions and gain appropriate risk approvals. The team is responsible for handling these initial requests and facilitating routing to the right parts of our department.

  • Education & Awareness – The team manages our InfoSec internal web presence, our online training & education materials on cyber security topics, and handles our annual security training program. Identifying required training topics, developing & leveraging material, and executing on the program to improve cyber awareness around the company.

  • Security Initiative Oversight – The team provides valuable assistance to the InfoSec organization in tracking our various internal initiatives and keeping them on schedule / accountable for delivery as expected.

  • Compliance Support – The team supports aspects of our corporate compliance program, in such areas as overseeing the execution of our continuous monitoring program. Working collaboratively with our business & other enterprise stakeholders to ensure systems are being kept compliant to our patching & configuration requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be clearable to SECRET (does not have to have one at time of submission)

  • Experience in a cyber security role, with a customer facing aspect to the work

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the RSA Archer tool

  • Familiarity with the KnowBe4 training product

  • Management experience

  • Additional skills, specific tools or programs
